K-6
Water filter Model for our student education empowerment. Our students come from impoverished single parent households, hence finding better chances on life in the streets. When they go to school, they stand out because they lack classroom etiquettes. Therefore, we focus on filtering and distilling the above mentioned factors into healthy and positive learning resources which are essential to re-writing their stories.
Collective Learning
Even though we sponsor children to attend various schools around the country. We also meet with them over the weekend for discipleship, tutoring, mentorship and cultural classes. We are currently working on a summer camp program.

Our Story
Transplant or Wean off?
In the early days, we had to deal with the fact that these children had adapted to life on the streets; friends, food, and meaning was all here. Transplanting would mean we pluck them from the only things they knew unto a totally new life (The fact that this environment was harmful to them did not matter).
We decided to invite them over to our place where we had the basic things together with better long term opportunities they needed in a safe environment. This took perseverance, patience, hope, Intentionality and prayers. Once they had tasted of this, then they were encouraged to ‘go tell it on the mountains’. It has been 4 years and counting…

Back to School
Once we had earned their trust, we introduced the idea of going back to school. “Do I fit in?” was the question. “Those who once vandalised and stole are now are in school class and seated next to me”, thought the other better children… Instead of giving up, together we intentionally pushed our way into this new life. Despite lack of classroom etiquettes, inability to read or write, we tutored them weekly. Now they stand out exemplary and their hard work has paid off. We have some who have gotten scholarships to private schools, and now carry realistic dreams.
Today and Tomorrow
To us education is not limited to competency in the classroom, it goes beyond that. Our greatest joys are found in the impact these changed lives has had on their families and community. The children’s parents are now the ones encouraging their children to press on towards the rewards of this new found life their parents never had. At the same time, the parents are able to renew their minds and part ways with their old lives; harmful to their children’s future.
With all that these children are learning, they are able to give back to the community and support themselves through skits and plays telling their redemption stories at churches and community gatherings.
This is the three step foundation of our beliefs; Embrace, Reconcile, and Retell my story.
